transitFX

transitFX takes real time public transportation information, creates user friendly formats, and delivers it in the way passengers prefer. It delivers the information via text messaging, mobile web, cell phones, personal computers, or via an easy to read display.

.MANGE

transitFX.Manage is the system that operates all of the core components. The system provides a web based interface to control and manipulate the transitFX database. With each installed components having its own configuration section and an easy to navigate interface, transit operators of all sizes find that the system integrates in a seamless way.

.SMS

Routes and Departures can be obtained by simply text messaging the 5 digit number along with the specified stop point string identifier. transitFX will then reply to the user with the requested route information and bus departure times

.WAP

Provides slimmed down real time route information for mobile internet ready devices, such as PDAs and cellular phones. Stops can be accessed and searched by stop name or route.

.WEB

transitFX.Web provides an interactive, easy to read display of real-time route information for riders that is customized for the individual and easily retrieved. Live bus times can be accessed and searched by stop name or text message code. It also integrates with .Rider for saving and retrieving a favorites list of stops for quick and easy access

.DISPLAY

Uses the latest technology to deliver terminal route information in an easy to read, customized display. The real time information includes stop name, date, exact time, destination of vehicles, reroutes and alerts, advertisements, and weather. Also displays rich media, such as videos and full screen ads, which are downloaded asynchronously to the display as they are scheduled through .Manage.

.WIDGET

A conveient PC or Mac application that resides on a user's desktop, constantly updating itself with real time departure information. Users enter district-wide identifiers for their stop (also used in transitFX.SMS). Stops are maintained in a favorite list for quick, easy access. Routes can be filtered to show only information that matters. Departures continously update themselves, with attractive color-coded times

.JOURNEY

Provides a web based journey planner to specify instructions on how to get from one place to another, with not only route information but also required walking distance. Results include itinerary number, departure time, arrival time, total travel time, number of transfers, fare totals, and detailed travel instructions. Journeys can be printed, emailed, and saved.
